/ JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

ABOUT US

Vive is an industry-leading event production agency specialising in the creation and delivery of corporate events and digital media. We work with a variety of clients across many sectors of industry, from finance and technology to construction, media and healthcare - with particular focus on B2B corporate events, conferences and award ceremonies.

Founded in 2013, Vive began as a small company managing a handful of clients. Today we have a talented team of event directors, producers, production managers and in-house designers, all working together to deliver high-profile events across the UK and beyond.

Continued growth and changes in market demand have created an opening for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated designer at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience working on live events and develop their potential within a friendly and small, yet growing company by working on a broad range of projects and client sectors.

THE ROLE

We are looking to bring a new Junior Graphic Designer into our growing creative team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will work closely with our in-house designers, assisting in the production of a wide range of screen and print graphics for live events. This includes animated presentations, stage visuals, digital content, and supporting event collateral.

This role is designed to offer progression as your skills and confidence grow. You will initially support the team across a range of projects, gaining hands-on experience in both the creative and technical aspects of event production. As you develop, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own projects, creating graphics for full awards ceremonies and live events, from concept through to delivery. There will also be opportunities to attend events on-site, giving you a unique insight into how your work translates to a live environment and the chance to be part of the final production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support the design team in delivering high-quality creative content for live events, including:

  • Creating and preparing screen and print graphics for live event productions

  • Building and formatting Keynote and PowerPoint presentations

  • Creating animated presentation graphics

  • Developing and maintaining storyboards and visual narratives for event content

  • Organising, editing, and managing visual assets including logos, imagery and event photography

  • Proofing artwork and presentation content to ensure accuracy, consistency and brand alignment

  • Managing file structures, show files and asset libraries to support smooth production workflows

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • HND or Degree in Graphic Design or related field

  • Proficient in design software, primarily Adobe Creative Suite (in particular After Effects and Illustrator)

  • Experience using Apple Keynote and Microsoft Powerpoint

  • Experience preparing artwork files to a professional standard

  • A strong understanding of typography, layout and brand application

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Creative flair with a strong eye for detail and consistency

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work and media

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • The ability to work well within a team environment

  • Openness to feedback and a desire to continuously improve
